Community Success!! TMobile Cell Antennas Update

After our very passionate and vocal "Community Meeting" (April 7, 2010), where Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association Members and Bluff Heights' Residents voiced their viewpoints, and for the most part opposition, to T-Mobile's interest in installing Cell Antennas on the rooftop of the Arabic Bible Christian Church on 3rd St., word was received by our Vice-President, Mr. John Thomas, indicating that T-Mobile has pulled their application indefinitely. Therefore, there will be no need for BHNA Members or Bluff Heights' Residents to attend an upcoming Planning Commission meeting pertaining to this topic that was scheduled for April 15, 2010.

Cheers to those who made a difference, and whose voices were indeed heard! Also, the Board of the Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association would like to send special thanks to its Vice-President, Mr. John Thomas, for making this matter a priority for both Bluff Heights and himself on such short notice.

Best regards,

Board of Directors
Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association

Storm ~ January 2010

The Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association (BHNA) would like to update you on the effects of the recent rainstorms that hit our area. Long Beach City Manager, Mr. Pat West, completed an overview of how these storms affected our city and the BHNA would like you to see it. Also, considering the seriousness of these recent storms, the BHNA would like all residents of Bluff Heights to review an information sheet found on the Long Beach City Government website relating to "Flooding and Preparedness." Having such information at hand will give all our residents greater comfort in knowing what options are available before or after a storm hits.
