Support the BHNA

Why You Should Support

The Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association (BHNA) is a volunteer organization. There are no employees that work for the BHNA. The Board relies solely on the volunteer spirit of individuals from our neighborhood to provide staffing  for  special neighborhood events. There are many opportunities to volunteer to support BHNA and we welcome your assistance. Primary financial funding comes from donations from supporters like you. Additional fundraising comes from special events/projects and corporate donations.

Please help improve your neighborhood and support the BHNA. Your support assists the BHNA in hosting activities, such as:

  • Quarterly Neighborhood Forums–topics typically include:

    • Neighborhood Security–Long Beach police officers report community statistics and alerts at every forum.

    • Horace Mann Elementary Schoolupdates and progress reports.

    • City Council Districts 2 and 3 Updates–representatives provide updates to Bluff Heights residents and opportunities for input or questions.

  • Neighborhood Architectural Tours–presented in various manners, such as educational classes, walking and bus tours focusing on architectural features.

  • Bluff Heights e-Newsletters-–written by Board members and residents and delivered directly into your inbox…FREE!
